Asmita Nagar Upadhyay is from Indore (Madhya Pradesh), India and has been residing in the USA for the last 13 years.
Her passion for art work dates back to her childhood where she used to gift handmade cards to her school and college friends/ teachers/ relatives on their birthdays and on various occasions. She enjoys painting in acrylics and sketching as well, and has tried working with all media. Her favorite subjects include Peacock, Peacock feather, Rose, Nature and anything that stirs her soul. She is a professional Henna Artist as well. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage. She has been a part of International Nights at various schools in the county, putting Henna tattoos on attendees.
She feels that her passion for Arts is the best gift God almighty has blessed her with and she thoroughly enjoys creating her art works. She feels creating art is like meditation for her. She is passionate, optimistic and loves Life and Nature lover.
