About Me

Christy Kill is an abstract painter with international visibility. Her work hangs in 11 countries around the globe. She is inspired by nature’s movements and colors and translates these emotions onto canvas. Her paintings are wispy and bold, and bring happiness with their expressionist style. Christy works primarily with acrylic and resin, offering a high-gloss finish. She also produces heavily textured abstracts in oil.

Christy has exhibited at the Mclean Project for the Arts, Gallery Underground, the Arlington County Board office, and the Arlington Central Library. A pair of her paintings “On the Shores of Iceland” were featured on a slideshow during ArtBasel Miami in December 2017, and are now on permanent display at the Iceland Ocean Cluster in Reykjavík, Iceland. She has given proceeds and paintings to several NGO’s and charities that better serve children and the environment. To find out more, visit her website at
