Vicki Doyle, a native of Connecticut, has lived in many parts of the United States and Europe, and has traveled extensively all over the world. She is a graduate of Boston University where she majored in art. She later studied serigraph under Sister Mary Carida at the Immaculate Heart College in Hollywood, California. Some of her work was selected by Sister Mary Carida for exhibit in a 57th Street Gallery and was included in an international tour. Vicki has also taken courses at the torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia.
Over the years, Vicki’s art has woven its way into her life and surfaced in many ways: art teacher in San Angelo, Texas Jr. High, Interior Designer with Asams Interiors, did layouts for magazines such as The White House News Photographers Best- Annual Awards, and owner of Vicki Doyle Tours, LLC, a travel agency that focuses on special interest tours emphasizing culture, art, and history in countries throughout the world.
She has exhibited in California , New York and the Washington, DC area. Her work is represented in many private collections in Europe and in the United States.
Although Vicki has worked in many medias, she prefers painting in oils. Her work can best be described as mystical impressions in warm, appealing colors. Many of her canvasses are based on her travels, love of horses, ballet and the ocean.
