Charlotte Potashnik is a Northern Virginia native who holds a masters degree in organization and human development. She retired from the World Bank in 2000 after a 25 year career in human resources. She began her journey in art in 2001 taking a variety of classes and workshops through the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. and the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia as well as master workshops with internationally known artists. Her primary mediums are watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, colored pencil, oil pastel and graphite.
Charlotte is a member of both the McLean Art Society and the Vienna Arts Society and has been juried into shows with both organizations. She is past president of the McLean Art Society (2008-2010) and past president of the Vienna Arts Society (2005-2007). She is currently a member of the Board of the McLean Art Society.
Charlotte’s work is on display for sale at the Village Green Gallery , L’lmage Salon & Spa, and the Vienna Art Center, all in Vienna, Virginia. She also has work on display for sale at the Springhill Recreation Center in McLean, Virginia.
