New York Trip
In April, a two-night bus trip is taken to New York City in conjunction with the Vienna
Arts Society in order to view the American Watercolor Society Show.
This trip is open to members of both art societies, their
families and friends.
New York 2013
This year three art societies in the area are planning a 3 day trip to view award winning watercolor paintings in NYC leaving plenty of time for you to visit, shop,go to a show, etc.
- The date is April 11 returning home Saturday April 13. While it is primarily for artists, it is open to art lovers.
- The fee is $375. which pays for charter bus and two nights at the Helmesly Midtown Hotel. The bus takes us to the watercolor show and to the hotel. Meals and your other activities are on your own. A good Broadway show is always fun, so any suggestions, we all would like the critiques.
- Reservation is first-come basis. The Potomac Valley Watercolorists are coordinating this trip. I will be handling Vienna and McLean reservations as well as friends of the arts.
