Artist's Statement

Gertrud Mohr-Friedrich is an active member of the McLean Art Society and the Vienna Arts Society. Gertrud works in a variety of media. She has taken classes and workshops with known artists over the years in the United States and abroad. She enjoys the Greater Washington area's art competition and likes to exhibit in juried or judged group shows. Her goal remains to become a better painter. Gertrud holds degrees in French and English. German is her native language. Art and art history have always been her interest and passion. She also loves to travel and has been in many countries all over the world.
