Artist's Statement
Charlotte Potashnik is a northern Virginia native who holds a master’s degree in organization development. She retired from the World Bank in 2000 after a 25 year career in human resources. She began her journey in art in 2001 taking a variety of courses through the Corcoran School of Art and Art League School in Alexandria, VA. Her primary mediums to work in are watercolor, gouache, acrylic, colored pencil, oil pastel and graphite.
Charlotte is a member of both the McLean Art Society and the Vienna Arts Society. She has been juried into member shows with both art organizations. She is past President of the McLean Art Society (2008-2010) and past co-President of the Vienna Arts Society (2005-2007) as well as Vice President of McLean Art Society (2011) and is currently their Program Chair. |
