Artist's Statement

Bill Dunn has a BA degree from VMI in chemistry and biology. He worked in Falls Church, Virginia, for First Virginia Bank (now BB&T) and Auchincloss, Parker, and Redpath until he retired. He has been active in many civic groups, serving as president of Chesterbrook School PTA, Falls Church Chamber, and Falls Church Lions. He was treasurer of Chesterbrook Swim and Tennis Club.

Bill began painting after his retirement in 2001. He has studied drawing and painting at VCU and NOVA. He paints in acrylics, watercolor, and oil. He likes to paint animals, still lifes, and landscapes.
