Education:

University of Wellington, New Zealand. B.A. Rollins College, Fl., M.A.T. Duke University, NC. Also studied at the Sorbonne, France, University of Mexico, Laval University, Canada. Retired professor of French, Spanish, & ESL at Michigan State University & at Yale University. She has circumnavigated the world by ship, & lived in 8 countries, studying & teaching art & languages.

Presently on Board of McLean Art Society. Past Representative to Fairfax County Council for the Arts. Member of The Hospitality & Information Service for Diplomats.

Diane's works have been in numerous juried & one-person shows. Many are in local & international private & public collections. Given her heightened awareness of the glories of nature & the immense variety of scenic experiences, she is almost always thinking creatively & feeling gratitude for it all.

She specializes in oil, acrylic & photography. More recently, her uniquely inspired seashell & sand aggregates have received much positive feedback.

Among other rotating venues, six of her latest larger landscapes - of Greece & the Mediterranean islands - can be enjoyed & purchased at Mylo's Restaurant in McLean.
